For nearly 30 years, I’ve learned one enduring truth: every market bridge is temporary. Success doesn't come from predicting every move—it comes from knowing when to move on.
My career began in 1996 on an equities desk just prior to the dot com boom. I watched euphoria turn to crisis, and with it, I learned one of the most valuable lessons in finance: respect the trend, but never worship it. In 2008, while markets unraveled and many froze, I learned how to navigate uncertainty by thinking independently and positioning ahead of change.
By 2017, I wasn’t just reacting—I was forecasting. This clarity led me to private equity in San Francisco, where we made early, strategic bets in companies like Palantir, Uber, and Airbnb—during one of the most expansive liquidity cycles in modern history.
But by late 2022, I saw the landscape shifting. Central banks tightening, valuations stretching, and systemic risks growing. When asked to promote narratives I no longer believed in, I made a choice that defines this firm’s values: I stepped away.
That decision led to Trend Bridge Consulting.
We’re built on the principle that real value lies in positioning before the crowd—not after.
